A booking system for law firms
Let new clients book their first consultation online without giving up control. The request reaches you before it takes a slot in the calendar, so you can check for conflicts of interest before anything is agreed.
Start free trialAn open calendar doesn't fit a law firm
First contact takes time: the client calls or emails, someone finds a free lawyer, and then there are a few rounds of back-and-forth about the time. Meanwhile, a client in a hurry may contact the next firm.
But an ordinary booking calendar, where anyone can book a slot directly, doesn't fit a law firm. You need to know who the client is, and who the other party is, before you meet, and the first conversation has to land with a lawyer who works in that area.
How Tempari helps law firms
Request-to-book for first consultations
First consultations arrive as booking requests. You see the enquiry, check it, and approve or decline it before it takes a slot in the calendar. Follow-up meetings can book instantly. You choose per service.
Ask about the other party when they book
You set the booking-form questions for each service. Add "Name of the other party" to the first consultation, and you have what you need for the conflict check when the request comes in.
Clients book the right lawyer
Assign each lawyer to the services they actually offer, such as family law, estates or commercial. When a client picks a service, they only see the lawyers who can help.
In person or online
Choose per service. In-person meetings show your office address, and online meetings get a Teams link automatically once you connect your Outlook calendar with a Microsoft 365 work or school account.
A booking page per office
If you have several offices, each gets its own public booking page with its own address and lawyers, while settings and logo stay with the firm.
Access by role, data in the EU
Only owners and admins see every client. Other lawyers and staff only see the clients they have met or added themselves. Data is stored in the EU, with a data processing agreement.
Frequently asked questions
Can we run a conflict check before the time is confirmed?
Yes. Set first consultations to request-to-book. The time is only confirmed once you approve it, and you can decline it if there is a conflict.
Can existing clients book directly?
Yes. You choose per service whether a booking needs your approval or confirms straight away. Follow-up meetings, for example, can book instantly.
Can everyone at the firm see every client?
No. Owners and admins, including admins of a single office, see every client at the firm. Other staff only see the clients they have met or added themselves. Other clients don't appear for them at all.
Do online meetings get a Teams link?
Yes, once you connect your Outlook calendar with a Microsoft 365 work or school account. A personal Outlook.com account can't be used for Teams links. New services start as in-person meetings, so switch the services that need a link to online.
Does Tempari replace our practice management system?
No. Tempari handles booking, while matters and documents stay in your practice management system.
Where is our clients' data stored?
In the EU, with a data processing agreement. If you connect a Microsoft or Google calendar yourself, the bookings you sync also go to that provider.
Can clients pay for a first consultation when they book?
Yes. On Plus and Team you can take a deposit or full payment when the client books.
How much does it cost?
From €13 a month excluding VAT for one lawyer. Team is €66 a month per office with unlimited staff. Every plan can be tried free for 30 days, no card required.
