Online meetings

Online booking with automatic Teams and Google Meet links

When a customer books an online meeting, Tempari creates a Teams or Google Meet link for that booking and sends it with the confirmation. Nobody has to set up a meeting and paste the link into an email.

The link is the part that gets forgotten

A customer books a video meeting, and then someone has to create the meeting in Teams, copy the link and send it. If that step is forgotten, or the link goes to the wrong address, the meeting starts with a phone call asking where to join.

Many booking tools avoid the problem by pasting the same fixed link into every booking. That works until two meetings overlap, or a customer joins the previous one. A link per booking, created by the booking system, solves both.

How online meetings work in Tempari

  • A new link for every booking

Each online booking gets its own meeting, created when the booking is confirmed. The link is in the customer's confirmation and in the calendar invitation.

  • Microsoft Teams

Connect your Outlook calendar with a Microsoft 365 work or school account, and online services can get a Teams link automatically. A personal Outlook.com account can't create Teams links.

  • Google Meet

Connect your Google Calendar, and online services can get a Google Meet link instead. Each staff member can use the calendar they already work in.

  • Choose per service

New services start as in-person meetings at your address. Switch the ones that should be online, or offer both and let the customer choose when they book.

  • In the calendar you already use

The booking lands in your Outlook or Google calendar with the meeting link, so you join from the calendar like any other meeting.

  • Works with request-to-book

If a service needs your approval first, the meeting is only created once you approve the request. Declined requests never get a link.

Frequently asked questions

Which video tools does Tempari support?

Microsoft Teams and Google Meet. The link is created automatically for each booking.

Why doesn't my Teams link work with Outlook.com?

Teams links require a Microsoft 365 work or school account. Connect your Outlook calendar with that account. A personal Outlook.com account can't be used for Teams links.

Do I need a paid Google account for Google Meet?

No. Connect the Google Calendar you use, and Tempari creates the Meet link through it.

Where does the customer find the link?

In the booking confirmation and the calendar invitation they receive.

Can the customer choose between online and in person?

Yes. Give a service more than one option, and the customer picks one when they book.

Where is the meeting data stored?

Bookings are stored in the EU. The meeting itself is created with Microsoft or Google, so they receive the meeting details, just as when you create a meeting yourself.

Which plans include online meetings?

Every plan, from Solo at €13 a month excluding VAT. Every plan can be tried free for 30 days, no card required.
